QURBANI PROCESS IN GAZA
This year, the qurbani donation for Gaza is 18,000 TRY.
The information below aims to provide our valued donors with a detailed explanation of the Gaza qurbani process.
• Our qurbani operations are carried out in accordance with the jurisprudential rules of the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
• After the qurbani process is completed, a qurbani video will be sent to your mobile phone via SMS.
• The sacrificed animals are distributed to those in need in the region where they are slaughtered. However, due to the ongoing crisis conditions, a different operational process has been followed for Gaza since 2024.
• Due to security and operational constraints, qurbani operations are carried out in a third country outside Gaza.
• The meat from the sacrificed animals is processed into canned food under appropriate conditions.
• The canned meat is delivered to the people of Gaza before its expiration date.

In case the qurbani operation cannot be carried out in Gaza due to force majeure conditions, you will be contacted no later than the eve of Eid (Tuesday, May 26), and the following alternatives will be presented for your consideration:

• Your qurbani may be transferred in another country and delivered to people in need. The difference between the Gaza qurbani price (18,000 TRY) and the standard qurbani price (5,800 TRY) may be donated to the Yeryüzü Doktorları Gaza project.
• Your qurbani may be slaughtered in another country and delivered to people in need. The price difference between the Gaza qurbani and the standard qurbani may be refunded to you.
• Your full donation amount may be refunded to you. You will be provided with detailed information regarding the refund process upon your request.
