At Yeryüzü Doktorları, we are committed to continuing our efforts, no matter the circumstances. We are working relentlessly to address the most urgent needs in the region, where the intensity of the attacks increases daily, and access to even basic necessities is becoming more challenging. Since October 7, our activities in Gaza have included:
-
Emergency interventions and surgeries
-
Treatment and medical consultations
-
Physical therapy and rehabilitation services
-
Ambulance support
-
200 doctor uniforms and 176 hospital kits to support the healthcare system
-
Provision of medical and health supplies
-
Financial support for over 240 healthcare workers at Kuwait Hospital
-
Support for bread, water, and hot meals
-
Food package assistance
-
Distribution of canned meat from 200,000 shares
-
Baby diapers, wet wipes, and baby food support
-
Emergency and disposable supplies for more than 26,000 people
-
Psychosocial support services for over 4,000 children
Following the destruction of many health centers, we established the only accessible health support station in the region within the Alyarmouk Stadium Camp in Northern Gaza, initiating primary healthcare services. In cooperation with UNICEF, we began administering vaccinations twice a week to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Simultaneously, we provided food aid to support children and pregnant women in their fight against malnutrition. Our teams continue to provide emergency care, physiotherapy, medical examinations, treatment, vaccinations, and medication support for the local population.
Currently, we continue our services without interruption through our mobile health teams in both North Gaza and central Gaza. We are actively working in hospitals such as Al-Shifa, Al-Aqsa, and Al-Ahli. By providing salary support to healthcare workers, we have been working tirelessly since October 7 with all available resources to ensure the continuity of emergency relief efforts.
As Yeryüzü Doktorları (Doctors Worldwide), we have reached over 900,000 beneficiaries and shouldered the burden of more than 43,000 families together since October 7, in Gaza, where the situation is worsening each day. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to continuing our work in Gaza without interruption.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
