At Yeryüzü Doktorları, we are committed to continuing our efforts, no matter the circumstances. We are working relentlessly to address the most urgent needs in the region, where the intensity of the attacks increases daily, and access to even basic necessities is becoming more challenging. Since October 7, our activities in Gaza have included:

• Emergency response and surgical interventions

• Medical treatment and examinations

• Physical therapy and rehabilitation services

• Ambulance support

• Medical equipment and supplies

• Salary support for healthcare workers

• Bread, water, and hot meal assistance

• Food parcel distribution

• Hygiene kit distribution

• Canned sacrificial meat assistance

• Baby diapers, wet wipes, and infant formula support

• Emergency needs and consumable supplies

• Psychosocial support services

• Water tanker support

Due to the attacks, our association’s headquarters in Gaza, our physical therapy and rehabilitation center, and our supply warehouses have been destroyed, and our ambulances have become unusable. Following the destruction of many healthcare facilities, the only accessible health center in the region was established within the Al-Yarmouk Stadium Camp in Northern Gaza, where primary healthcare services were initiated.

In cooperation with UNICEF, vaccination activities were carried out two days a week to reduce the risk of epidemic diseases. Simultaneously, food assistance was provided to support children and pregnant women struggling with malnutrition. In addition, humanitarian aid supplies were delivered to the region both through aid trucks prepared at border crossings and through goodwill ships sent from Mersin Port under the coordination of AFAD.

Currently, Yeryüzü Doktorları continues to actively provide emergency aid services on the ground through mobile health teams as well as at Shifa, Al-Aqsa, and Al-Ahli hospitals. Since October 7, amid the rapidly deteriorating situation in Gaza, we have reached more than 900,000 beneficiaries and supported over 45,000 families. In November 2025, to ensure the continuity of physical therapy and rehabilitation services and primary healthcare among the most essential health needs in the region the Khan Yunus Health Center was put into operation.

CLEAN WATER SUPPORT (WATER TANKERS)

In Gaza, where infrastructure has been largely destroyed, local residents are unable to access clean water for days at a time. For children, the elderly, and patients, access to clean water has become a vital struggle. The absence of adequate hygiene conditions significantly increases the risk of infectious and epidemic diseases.

While continuing our emergency health interventions, Yeryüzü Doktorları also carries out activities to ensure access to clean water, an indispensable component of health. Through tankers with a capacity of 5 tons each, we provide daily water supply to thousands of people.
