What do We do?
As Yeryüzü Doktorları, in order to make access to fresh water possible, since 2013, we have opened 184 water wells in Chad, Kenya, Congo DC, Niger, Somalia and Afghanistan, enabling approximately 127 thousand people to access fresh water. We are continuing our WASH projects especially in countries where there is a lot of need.
What can you do?
Millions of people lose their health and even their lives due to inability to access fresh water. If you want to provide them access to fresh water and to contribute them holding on to life, you may cover the cost for a water well or support the opening of a common water well with small contributions.
Among the countries where we currently perform such works, the cost for a water well in Afghanistan is 2000 dollars, 3600 dollars in Chad and 4300 dollars in Somalia.
Don’t Forget! Water for us, Life for them
