Humanity is Dying!
- In Yemen, with a population of about 29 million, more than 8 million people are facing the danger of starvation due to civil war. Over 2.000 people have lost their lives due to cholera outbreaks within this year in the country, where people cannot reach health services.
- There are 6 million people in need in Somalia, where there are famine and drought. 7 out of every 10 people are under the risk of inability to access clean water and hygiene facilities.
- Children suffering from malnutrition in Eastern Ghouta are in need of an urgent therapy in order to survive. Delivery of basic supplies to Eastern Ghouta, where 400 thousand people live, carries great importance.
- It is estimated that 10 thousand people enter Bangladesh every day as they’re forced to migrate from Arakan. In the refugee camps in Bangladesh, infectious diseases are spreading due to lack of hygiene and contaminated water.

What Do We Do?
As Yeryüzü Doktorları, we have been to more than 40 countries and witnessed so much pain. We have seen that not everywhere in the world is equal in terms of access to health services.
Due to this inequality, we have performed thousands of examinations and surgeries, and also distributed medicines and hygiene kits. For instance, in our nutrition centers in Yemen, we have provided nutrition therapy to thousands of people suffering from starvation, and distributed water purification tablets to prevent the spread of cholera. In Somalia, we have provided food support for 80 thousand people and drilled water wells this year. For mothers and children struggling with starvation, we have launched a nutrition program under the supervision of specialists in the eastern Ghouta region of Syria. In Bangladesh, hygiene kits have been distributed to prevent infectious diseases caused by inadequacy of hygiene in refugee camps.
In short, with the goodness we get from you, we have touched thousands of lives so far, and we still continue to touch.
What Can You Do?
In the regions in need, treatment cost for a patient has been determined as 130 TRY.
Depending on the patient’s condition, this cost includes one or more than one expenses such as examination, surgery and medication and in this regard, the spent donation amount per person may vary.
We are here, standing by the ones in need. They need us and we need you!
