Monsoon rains, which pours every year in Bangladesh, were effective in the region last week as well. While the rains caused floods, the lower parts of the refugee camp located on sloping land got destructed due to the flood waters. In Bangladesh, where we continuously provide health services to refugees in our clinics, we started an emergency aid program after the flood disaster. We distributed food packages to meet the needs with the highest priority in the camp area, where the need for basic services increased due to the disaster. In this context, we delivered basic food products such as rice, oil, sugar and etc. and supported 800 people in need in the camp.
