As every year, we are waiting for the support of our donors for our campaign called “Let There Be Sacrifice, Let There Be Health”, which we started this year to share the blessings of Eid al-Adha in difficult geographies struggling with hunger.

As Yeryüzü Doktorları, we have made sacrifices for more than 180 thousand shares within the scope of our qurbani organizations conducted underneath our preventive health services. This year, with the aim of delivering the sacrificed shares of our donors to thousands of people in need, we will share the joy of Eid al-Adha in 14 countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Chad, Ethiopia, Palestine, Niger, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Uganda and Yemen.

Our Chairman of the Board Yahyahan Güney, M.D. called our donors for support and said, “As Yeryüzü Doktorları, we have been delivering the animals to be sacrificed that are entrusted to us by our donors to those in need in regions with quite difficult living conditions, especially in regions facing with hunger. We organize our qurbani organizations within the framework of Islamic procedures and rules, and after sacrification, we complete their distribution immediately. Sometimes, we witness different stories on this road that we set out to cheer up the houses with the blessings of the Eid al-Adha. During those organizations, we see people who want to share even their last bread to thank us, and families who grind a piece of meat into powder so that they can consume it for a year. We know that this year, thousands of people in need are waiting for our help. We would like to remember that we still need the support of our donors, who are always there for us.
