THE LEVEL OF HUNGER ON THE EARTH IS INCREASING!

According to current reports of the United Nations; More than 783 million people in the world are struggling with hunger due to many factors such as war, disaster, geographical conditions, pandemic and poverty. Africa continues to be the region most affected by this problem, with more than 333 million people unable to access sufficient and safe food. The highest risk group in terms of hunger is pregnant/breastfeeding mothers and children under 5 years of age.
In countries below the hunger line, 148 million children under the age of 5 cannot complete their development in a healthy way due to malnutrition. Severe hunger, malnutrition and chronic infection symptoms cause irreversible effects on children's physical and mental development.
In 2021 alone, a child or young person under the age of 5 died every 4.4 seconds due to malnutrition, while 1.9 million babies were born dead in the same period. In countries where hunger and humanitarian crises are at the highest level, more and more children lose their lives whenever medical nutrition treatment and medical supervision are not available.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?
